We are the DC State Players! 

​

Arguably the best community theatre in the District of Columbia, and Maryland, and Virginia, and possibly the world!  The DC State Players have been putting in their all since August of 2012! In that time we have put up approximately 32 full length productions, 64 events, and 128 stage readings!!

​

The DC State Players have even taken it upon themselves to challenge the big boys of the DC theatre scene by producing the exact same shows as Arena Stage, The Shakespeare Theatre, and Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company at the exact same time!  We believe in spirited competition and believe that we can compete on the same playing field as these giants!  Of our currently running production of Good People by David Lindsey-Abaire, Pietro Marks has said, "The DC State Players have done it again..."

We bring love and compassion to every production and expect the same from our audience.  If you don't bring love and compassion, we will ask you to leave immediately.  That is our motto, theme, and denouement.

And bad theatre, is not good.
